Kate Bigham, born in 1986 near Atlanta, Georgia, is a self-taught fiber artist. Her interest in fiber arts began in childhood, learning techniques from her mother and grandmother. Before high school, she mastered crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, sewing, and quilting.

Kate shifted to creating woven wall pieces after leaving a career as an analyst. Inspired by a need for unique home decor, she develops custom designs with texture and geometric shapes using fabric and fibers. Her pieces are made of 100% cotton or wool, and adorn wooden frames. Kate meticulously crafts each piece, from wood framing to hand-dyed colors. Her work adorns homes across the US and prestigious locations like the Ritz Carlton in Dallas, TX. Based in Arizona, Kate lives with her partner and two dachshunds, fully immersed in her creative passion.
